Chase County Fishing Lake

Another lovely weekend in Chase county!  We had a fun day of fishing, playing at Swope Park, playing at the Strong City Park, and listening to the sounds of the trains.  Our two year old wanted to know where those sounds were coming from so her adventurous aunt showed her the way and ended up at the caboose near the Strong City depot.  Another fun stop as they all climbed on board.  The falls at the walking bridge are especially interesting as there is a lot of watering rushing over them.  Everyone enjoyed hiking to the falls at the Chase County lake.   The gardening is going great at Spring Street, excited about the fall plantings and the previous plants and seeds that have made an appearance this spring.  There will be a lot of weeding to do with the abundant rains.  But the green hills are amazing and quite a sight to enjoy!  Please make plans for weekend getaway and email me at [email protected] to plan your visit soon!
