Prairies Edge Weekly Blog
I am so sorry the Dream Ride had to cancel plans this year.
We have a lot of weekend availability and would love to help host. Thank you for sharing Spring Street information plus the ranches where people can board their horses and enjoy riding in the Flint Hills this fall.
Please fan our FB page to know what is happening each weekend in CWF. We have five guest rooms. Each room accommodates 2.
Typically our breakfast menu is breakfast sandwiches, fresh fruit and yogurt, French toast, bacon, sausage and fruit salad. Also happy to offer eggs cooked to order. It is an old home, but renovated with the modern amenities, and we are doing everything possible for our guests comfort. Seasonal clothing is very helpful.
It is a family home and we look forward to your stay.
Besides rest and relaxation:
Prairie PastTimes Artist Cooperative
Tallgrass Prairie Preserve
Scenic 177 and Matfield Green
Pioneer Bluffs Historic barn, home and gallery
Chase County Historical Museum
Chamber Courthouse Tours (Saturday afternoon)
Chase County Fishing Lake and dam hike to falls

Saturday morning library hours
Strong City Clark's Hardware

At this time Wifi is available at the library (just to the east of Spring Street a block or two)
See you then!
Covid 19 alert: If running a temperature or not feeling well we ask you to postpone your visit for your health, safety of our home and other guests. There is currently a state request for the wearing of a mask in public areas. Thank you.
